Aaron Harper

Aaron Harper began his volleyball career in 1998 as a freshman at Amador Valley High School. Throughout his four years of varsity volleyball at Amador Valley, Aaron was coached by four different head coaches, learning many different ways to teach the game. After his junior year at Amador Valley, Aaron began to play club volleyball for East Bay Volleyball Club. At the end of the 2001 club season Aaron was awarded team MVP. During his senior year at AVHS Aaron received player of the week twice, EBAL 1st Team All League honors, and Team MVP. In the Fall of 2001 Aaron enrolled at San Diego State University. After four years of volleyball at SDSU, placing as high as 5th nationally, Aaron moved back home to Pleasanton to coach Amador Valley High School’s Boys Varsity Volleyball. In his first two year as Head Coach, Aaron has guided talented Amador Valley teams to first round NCS victories. Aaron has also coached the Renegades 18-2 team and is now coaching the Renegades 18-1’s. Being part of such fun, talented, charismatic teams only drives Aaron to learn more about the game and pass along his love and knowledge of the sport to others.
