Nevan Elam

Nevan Elam, is the Senior Vice President Corporate Operations, General Counsel and Secretary for Nektar Therapeutics. Previously, Mr. Elam was Chief Financial Officer and one of the founding executives of E2open, Inc., a software corporation with operations in six countries. Before serving as CFO of E2open, Mr. Elam was E2open’s Vice President of Corporate and Business Development and General Counsel. Prior to his management roles at E2open, Mr. Elam was a corporate Partner in the firm Wilson Sonsini Goodrich & Rosati, where he represented emerging growth companies in a variety of industries, including the life sciences, software and hardware. Mr. Elam advised clients on a wide range of matters from incorporation to securities filings and compliance to mergers and acquisitions. In addition, Mr. Elam maintained a significant international practice where he handled strategic transactions for corporations all over the world.
Mr. Elam holds a Juris Doctorate from Harvard Law School in Cambridge Massachusetts, and a Bachelor of Arts from Howard University in Washington D.C
