Aaron Harper

Aaron Harper began his volleyball career in 1998 as a freshman at Amador Valley High School. Throughout his four years of varsity volleyball at Amador Valley, Aaron was coached by four different head coaches, learning many different ways to teach the game. After his junior year at Amador Valley, Aaron began to play club volleyball for East Bay Volleyball Club. At the end of the 2001 club season Aaron was awarded team MVP. During his senior year at AVHS Aaron received player of the week twice, EBAL 1st Team All League honors, and Team MVP. In the Fall of 2001 Aaron enrolled at San Diego State University. After five years of volleyball at SDSU, placing as high as 5th nationally, Aaron moved back home to Pleasanton to coach Amador Valley High School’s Boys Varsity Volleyball. In his each of his four years as Head Coach, Aaron has guided talented Amador Valley teams to the NCS Tournament, finishing no lower than 5th. In 2010 Amador Valley won their 1st EBAL Title since 1997 and finished 2nd in NCS. Aaron has also coached for Renegades Volleyball Club for the past 4 seasons. After playing and coaching for 25+ seasons Aaron enjoys being part of such fun, talented, passionate teams. Entering his 3rd year with Core Volleyball Club Aaron is driven to learn more about the game and pass along his love and knowledge to others.
